Physical Demand: Challenging - Daily hiking length of about 3-4 miles total, with steeper sections and stairs. Working in wet environments has inherent dangers of slipping, falling, or tripping. We will also be working regardless of rain or shine and wet, cold weather adds to the difficulty of this adventure.

Silver Falls State Park is a beautiful gem of the Oregon State Park system. With no less than 10 waterfalls in under nine miles of trails, there are so many photography opportunities in a concentrated area. During this photo adventure, we explore various photo techniques and perspectives, creating everything from traditional landscapes to abstract images.
Our days in this moss laden forest will be filled with the bright colors from fall foliage hanging overhead. From the traditional landscape image to the intimate landscape, macro, and abstract, we will spend as much time in the field as possible. Focus will be on long exposures, intimate landscapes, and creative techniques. Evenings will be used to review images and discuss topics such as post-processing.
